i cant see Costa Rica or the US advancing past the next round but you never know...Cameroon shocked everyone a few cups ago by getting to the last eight..and most people had no idea where Cameroon was prior to that!...
im sticking with original two Jerome(holland/spain)...
but history has a way of making the home team win no matter how average they are at the beginning of the tournament...
both France and Spain won when no-one gave them a shot early in their campaigns when they won at home, so Brazil, they are yet to peak also

Spain have been eliminated...good! I want a new champion, Holland would be great, they face Mexico next! Mexico would be great also since they have been highly competitive for decades and they are from CONCACAF , our FIFA conference!...Chile vs Brazil today!...interesting?

Wow ! What do you all think of The Netherlands coach substituting Tim Krul in goal for the penalty shoot out? Aparrently Krul is an above average penalty shot stopper ! I thought the strategy was brilliant ! The Dutch outplayed the Costa Ricans badly, they have a great goalkeeper.....it was obvious their only hope was in the shoot out and the Dutch knew it !
Unfortunate for Neymar and Brazil ! I am really hoping for a first time champion....The Netherlands..... please !!!!

im hoping Germany can beat Brazil...
but i fear riots will prevail if the home team get beaten,what with the current state of unrest in that country right now!
and Brazil didnt look convincing in their last match at all.
so the other semi-final is between Argentina and Holland/Netherlands then...
im hoping the Dutch will prevail...
so that means i guess i predict a German-Dutch final...
but its still impossible to rule out a Sth American team getting there...

I want Holland to win ...they have been in the final before three times...I am hoping it's their time...I want a first time winner...The Dutch deserve it,,,and such a small nation...great for them ! Arjen Robben is very exciting to watch...such a great dribbler of the ball !!!! Like to see an European final...Germany vs Holland !
