OKay I am an Apple fan girl. I think it is worth the money to get an iPad. The interface is clean and beautiful and it does everything, super convenient. Now, if you want it strictly for reading, than you should go for a kindle probably. But if you want something to be like a mini computer that will be your companion, your best companion, go for an iPad. It is pretty simple to use, much easier than learning to use a Mac. You will be fine, it is as simple as just touching what you want and for everything else there is the internet and YouTube.

I don't have an ipad. Don't really see the need. I use a Kindle for reading. Plus, I have a Galaxy Note as my phone. That's pretty much a smaller tablet.

Same here but my iPod was stolen so that may be a contributing factor lol. I do miss it because it held my entire iTunes library and my phone just doesn't have enough space.
