We also have a world class snooker referee
sounds like a Music Head type comment Gryph!?
let it be known that you also have some wonderful cafes and window front entertainment...unless the do-gooders have put a stop to it?

All the universities play rugby...both men and women !!!!
Well South Africans tend to excel at sport but we don't seem to produce many good musicians, or maybe, music that is not popular. I intend to change all of that. I am hell bent on becoming the best musician in the world on the electric triangle!

SA 87 - Namibia 0. Feel sorry for Namibia - they always try so hard. Lived there for three years. One amazing country. Vast and empty. Would love to go back one day.

That's what bugs me about the Rugby World Cup !!!!! They have to qualify 20 teams and they're hard pressed to do so !!!!
Thus you get ridiculously scores like 87 - 0 !!!!...perhaps but they never will,,,they should revamp the qualification standard...top seeded nations regardlesss of the continent !!!! Namibia, Romania , Japan and a few others shouldn't even be there !!!!
I don't even bother with games I know will end up a mismatch.
Looking forward to England vs Scotland ...hope I don't miss it (4 am start time here !!!).
Canada is seeded at number 14 so they'd make the cut !!!!
World Cup soccer goes by Continents and they occassionally have wipeouts but not in the same vein as 87-0

I was really looking forward to the brutal battle of England and Scotland similar to a New Zealand /Australia fixture !!!!
Due to time difference of over 12 hours I wasn't getting up at 4 am to watch the game live !
However at 0350ish this morning I had to get up to make a senior's pit stop !!!...lol.
The game would start in less than a half hour so I said frig it...I'll watch it..it's the weekend !
Man oh man what a game ...a battle of Titans ! These guys are TOUGH !!!!
Great suspense filled game ! Glad England came back with a try to win 16-12 !
Canada plays the favorite All Blacks tonight (11 pm my time). Maybe we can pull out an upset ?
Needless to say, it's pouring buckets here today and I didn't go back to sleep this morning so I feel like complete crap !!!!...lol.
