I agree with the Golden Age view, and I think that's simply what makes the decade the "best". I think the greatness of the influence that the 70s held on the decades that followed cannot be denied. I'm judging best by the strength of the influence it had on music.

If I were judging by talent, I'd still pick the 70s, but the talent judging really lies in opinion in many cases. :tongue:
