CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:yeh, love Nick Cave, i dont like everything he has done in his career, some of it is just too 'out there'. 'dig, lazerus dig' and 'murder ballads' would be my favourite albums, along with both Grinderman albums, seen him live 5 or 6 times, never puts on a bad show. he's one of the most underrated writers around IMO, and there aint no-one else like him
Yeah I get what you're saying. His very early work with The Birthday Party is extremely 'out there'. Dig Lazarus was a great album as is Murder Ballads but my favourite of his would have to be 'Henry's Dream'. If you haven't heard it check it out. Contains many of his best songs for me.
Also that's amazing you've seen him live so many times. I narrowly missed Grinderman at the Barrowlands recentley. Hope to catch him eventually!
