an surprise move on Mercury's part, maybe or maybe not?
afterall he loved opera and brought it to the masses via rock and roll in a roundabout way
Montserrat, one of the finest soprano voices of the 20th century from what i have read
if someone had told her in 1973 that she would make an album with the guy who sung "keep yourself alive" i wonder what her reaction would have been, probably disbelief!
anyway with Freddie's Spinto Tenor vocal range the album works IMO and it would rank around 2.4 which means...
