Metallica has long-been my favorite band of all time and the main source of music I had while growing up, so it's safe to say I've had a long time to listen to all of their albums and craft my opinions about them. So I'd like to share my thoughts on what I believe to be their worst to best albums, and I'd like to hear all of your thoughts/opinions on the band's projects as well. (I'm judging these albums and putting them in an order based on overall structure and catchiness of songs, creative use of guitar/drums/bass, and deep lyrical meaning and genius. I'm excluding the 'Garage Inc.' album because they are cover songs, and also the live 'S&M' album)
