^Glad you listened CH, and thanks for the feedback.
As far as new releases go, I seldom listen to them randomly because while I can appreciate new styles and sounds (not necessarily just dismiss them out of hand because they happen not to be my usual thing), generally speaking, and at the risk of seeming grumpy, it really does appear that what I consider to be artistry and musicianship, in the true sense of the word (such as Hackett and others of his ilk very obviously have/had), is rapidly becoming as rare as rocking horse poop; in the âpopularâ arena, at any rate!
There will always be exceptions, of course, and there will be listenable without longevity. Letâs hope the months ahead yield a nice surprise or two!
