This is your work and at the end of the day you must decide what you want to do with it. You might be amazed at what a simple live percussive instrument can do for a track - like a tambourine, woodblock or a cowbell etc. Your song has potential and I think if you can do something about that percussive loop you have a winner. Good luck in your quest.
