Cliff Richard released a "quodlibet" track in December of 1999 called "the millennium prayer" it was a combination of "the lords prayer" and "auld lang syne"...
it was the 112th single of his career(first hit in 1958), and became the third biddest selling hit of his career in the UK...
songle reached #1 in the UK, #2 in Australia and New Zealand and #3 in Ireland...
it has been voted in the UK during those music surveys as "the worst #1 single of all-time"...

i have previously compiled a similar thread for my personal 'singles' collection...
most of those probably wouldnt interest you jazzy because most of the singles were from my pre-teen and teen years of the late 70s and 1980s...
there are also quite a few from the 1960s/1970s/1990s and a few from the 00's also...
that thread is linked here if youre interested in taking a gander through it:

I understand what you are saying, derived form my posts and comments. I say to you sincerely I don't really know what will capture my attention so nobody else can either--this is not a punk-slap; just put the ball up and see if I spike it. Trust me to merely ignore and not talk sh!t about stuff I don't think moves us forward. I like a lot of stuff I don't feature--'80's hair bands? Bring'em.

Georgie Fame is one severely underrated dude--whether leading the band from the organ or doing that behind-the-scenes stuff, he always gave his best and demanded the same from all around him. Here's "Yeh, yeh" from that Jools perf--that tune in his hands stands the test of time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnrUHSuAYiw << Aged gracefully, don't you think? << Nice shout-out to some all-time musicians that have worked with him.

ELVIS PRESLEY "kiss me quick" B/W "something blue" 1962
62-ish was really the start of a big decline in the strength of Presley singles IMO...
too many movie soundtracks and songs that should(and could have) been in those appalling movies and got released as singles...
these two werent from movies, the "A" side is pretty lame, but the "B" side is a lovely brooding ballad, still not as good as his best material
i cant find any chart info on this one for the UK so maybe it didnt chart over there
