Roger Harry Daltry, born 01 March 1944. Well he needs no introduction! Here's "The Song is Over" from The Who's, Who's next ...

awesome vocalist, all-round nice guy(according to a friend who got his autograph a few years ago), not a bad actor and lead singer of my
second favourite 1960s rock band...for those who dont know it, Small Faces are my favourite!

^That's very nice. Thanks!
^^ CRAZY-HORSE - it's funny you should mention Manfred Mann. Mike d'Abo - vocalist with MM before they became the Earth Band, celebrates his birthday today! Same year as Roger Daltry too - 1944. His was the voice on the very first release of "The Mighty Quinn" (which you probably already knew). He also wrote the single "Handbags and Gladrags" which Chris Farlowe and then Rod Stewart recorded. This is his own version of his song -

Karen Carpenter, born 02 March 1950. A great talent, gone far too soon; she referred to herself as a âdrummer who sangâ.
Originally written and released by Klaatu, the Carpenters made this song famous. I love it!
