CLIFF RICHARD "mistletoe and wine" b/w "marmaduke" 1988
without a doubt...
this "a" side is my favourite Sir Cliff Richard single ever, great lyrics, melody etc etc
and a perfect 'holiday' song(well, as far as pop music goes anyway)
its a shame the "b" side is nothing but typical CR drivel!
single reached #1 in the UK but only managed #29 here

when Robin,Maurice and Barry get together i listen!
its pretty hard to beat these guys for melodies, harmonies and allround pop-perfection IMO...
love the "a" side which is up there with their best stuff
"b" side is a bit different for the Brothers Gibb, but still very good also
single only reached #2 here

SUZI QUATRO & CHRIS NORMAN "stumblin' in" b/w "a stranger with you" 1978
"a" side is a duet between Suzi and Smokie vocalist Chris Norman...
song has more of a Smokie sound than a Suzi sound, i love Smokie and Chris as a vocalist so i obviously love this track.
"b" side is another duet song, i like that one also...
single peaked at #2 here
