I realise this is going to sound like self-promotion, so let me put it another way.
I have started something new, especially for me. I am a composer in his 30s, just finished a PhD and am wondering what to do with my life and how to go about it. You may not realise, but there is pretty much zilch out there for classical composers. It's almost impossible to make a living off of the hard graft that we go through.
So, in an effort to try something new, I've started a YouTube series called "Let's Compose" which follows me through the composition process as I write pieces. It's not just about me - it's aimed at young people interested in getting into composition and presents various aspects of my own compositional process. It's not a tutorial either, as I don't believe that composition is something you can teach.
