NME story about Indiana Senator, Vaneta Becker, who has gone to the trouble of proposing a bill to fine musicians $25 if they deviate from the original lyrics of The Star Spangled Banner, at any event sponsored by Public Schools or Universities.
I understand the sentiment, but surely this is just unworkable nonsense ???

^ I always found it funny when teenagers try and talk about politics, it's somewhere between hilarious and cringe-worthy

ridiculous Tiggi
they ought to fine her for suggesting it
actually that article is a little misleading
she is a senator for the state of Indiana, and not a U.S. Senator

If that were to be signed into law (which it woudn't), it woud be an Indiana state law, not a national (U.S.) law.

It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
