Haha ok I'm sad! And Neil Young's recordings from the mid 80s were actually creative and original and made for the sake of art, not money as that was all Geffen wanted!!

Funny you should mention that. Yesterday I downloaded from itunes the recent recording of Handel's Messiah performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. Wonderful music.

I also have the entire works but haven't played them much lately...he's hooked in with Stravinsky and Hindemith..hope you enjoy Weber.
Wagner can be a bit dark and daring and at the same time very powerful !.....Have you listened to Karlheinz Stockhausen..Hymnen will blow you away...way way ahead of its' time... IMHO

I've never heard the original 1978 "Music For 18 Musicians", only the 1998 version which is very good, but this is, in my opinion, far superior
