BUT i like the mix of rocky popish stuff anyway, i would like to see more avril lavigne, greenday, rather than black eye peas stuff. i just appreciate the melodies more than the beats, not that TIGER is an intense soulful melody haha i just though the video was funny lol!!

Some strong recommendations on MD, plus falling in love with the single Set Fire to The Rain meant I had to get this sooner or later...

Man, this woman has a great voice (although it sounds like she's overdone things a bit, and is having to rest it) !!

I don't often go for this sort of thing, and just a good voice isn't usually enough for me, but the material is good and the voice is truly exceptional.

At the end of the day, there's not much more than relationship songs here, but no matter, it's still a very good release.

Debut from 2008 for this Aussie teenager.

I was drawn to this by the retro single Sweet About me. Brilliant song, but the rest of this album doesn't live up to expectation.

She has a great voice, but the material here isn't great. Not for me...

In the same way as with Gabriella Cilmi, I was drawn to this by the Empire State of Mind single. Once again, it appears that a quality single doesn't necessarily signpost a good album.

What's here is perfectly competent, but does little to excite my neckhairs. Wishy washy !!

I've never heard much from this '60s Girl Group other than the Leader of The Pack single, so this was a bit of a leap in the dark.

Mammoth single disc compilation of decent, if frothy, '60s Pop.

It's all a tad samey, but I feel it would be remiss not to have at least a comp of theirs in the collection, so this just scrapes onto the Buy List.
