as soon as i get in the car to go to work i have my ipod on, then pretty much all day at work i listen to the radio, ipod on the way home again. always play at least one album, either cd or vinyl late afternoon/early evening. then while im on the laptop looking at todays posts on MD and replying to whatever ones i deem neccessary i surf the net looking for anything interesting to bring to the good people of MD.

Varies a little but in the car on the way to and fro from work is usually enough time for at least one cd.
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!
It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
It makes a man frown..............................Chris Simpson ( "Mixed Up Sensations" 1975 Martin's Cafe )

I'm listening music in the mid of day. After lunch, I'm getting too bore or lazy. that is best time to listening music.

I am an early bird and a night owl as well. 3am to 5am in the morning. On headphones. That way I can really immerse myself in the music which probably explains why I tend to go for instrumental stuff in the morning. Great stereo pictures and all that. More vocal stuff in the evening or during the day. I used to do quite a lot of pencil sketches many moons ago, and I always found that long concept albums worked really well while doing a particular drawing or sketch ('Tales from Topographic Oceans' springs to mind.)
