I didn't vote for the 2000s, but there is a lot of really great music being made now. I couldn't really choose a "best" decade. There's always been awesome stuff being released. You just have to dig...

[underclass hero]

i here but the 90s just popularised to many styles of music so its the best

[HelterSkelter]

i think the 60s.

the 60s soul music is awesome.
plus you have the bealtes, the kinks, the who, the rolling stones ect.

brilliant period for music

To my own surprise - the 80s

I got into a 'desert island discs' conversation lately and realised that 5 out of my 8 tracks were 80s releases. As the 80s were a decade I would have always have said had the worst music, I realised (again) that I talk a load of rubbish.

- Duran Duran are still awful though

[OutofDate]

Definitely the 90s, because of the popularisation of grunge and the creation of alternative rock.

yup! like everybody else, even i thinhk 90's was the pinnacle of music. some of the best cames out, the bands had one thing for sure 'Great Sound'. the lyrics were'nt bad either. and the bands had as 'attitude' which is rare to find now or in the older years
