ED SHEERAN "shape of you"
second song released this week from Mr.Sheeran...
I prefer the other one I posted, but this is pretty good also,
if the new album is as good as these two tracks it should be pretty darn good!

enters the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart this week at #1
don't like the music
don't like the chorus
I don't like it
Lord I'm sick of the current crop of young superstars.
It's not that Ed Sheeran's songs are bad, they are just so ordinary, there is no substance to them, and that applies to almost all the songs I hear that are on today's pop charts.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how this guy became famous. His music is insipid and really has no direction at all. Nothing ever stands out in his tracks. They just plod along. I guess he just got lucky .

Damn you guys....
I must be the only one here who actually enjoys his simple style....?!?!
BTW, I don't think he is a great singer, guitarist, writer etc by any means, but I think "it" works...
I think he became so popular because he really came out of the blue when there were no acoustic guys out there, it was all that typical
Kanye, Beyoncé, Drake crap, I think people thought he was a breath of fresh air going against the trend and turned to him...
and after that popped up almost a whole generation of acoustic guys...George Ezra, James Bay, Hozier, Jake Bugg etc....
that said, I couldn't think of anything worse than going to see Sheeran live in concert, 1.5 to 2 hours of the same sound, I would all asleep for sure.

^^^ George Ezra...thanks for reminding me. That horrible song "Budapest". I don't think Ed Sheeran has done anything approaching that for sheer awfulness.
Oh yes, there is a lot worse around than Ed Sheeran.

really?
I thought Ezra's album was brilliant, my favourite of 2014???!
Blame It On Me was a better single than Budapest though...
have you ever seen Ezra, so young and baby faced, yet has a real deep baritone voice which just doesn't appear to come from him?!
have you heard anything from Jake Bugg bob_32???
