Music Today yay or nay?

I'd have to agree with the earlier poster who said Adele. Gaga was on top, but frankly I think she's starting to suffer from overexposure. She's just doing too much.

I say Lady Gaga is still more known than Adele. But really, I would not worry ReggieT because so many people copy her so I do think Gaga won't lose anything.

This is exactly what the problem with music today is ... there's nothing original and everything sounds the same.

I think also today's artists think that they will be popular if they make one monotonius sound. That is not good because then people will get mad. Why you think old albums are getting refresh success.

I hear new original sounds all the time, being a big fan of creative commons stuff.

The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!

"Keef" is actually my first name.

I don't think of it like that. I think of it as where I got them. I'm interested in the music, not the presentation, and certainly not the personality behind the music, and I identify what I'm listening to more by the cover or the label than artist/title. What I listen to mostly is very adventurous and requires the most open of musical minds (there's a lot of stuff I hear that I think "that's just weird") but I get to save a lot of money as it's all free, and it's ultimately far more rewarding than when I was budgeting for the plastic waffles. If your musical diet is just whatever's radio friendly this might be repellent.

So .....

and there's tonnes more where that came from.
