Hope was that elusive, sublime, slightly sexy female vocal lead in Mazzy Star. She now has a band called 'Hope Sandoval & the Warm Inventions'. (I think).

I have a few Mazzy albums and love their laid-back, narcotic quality, but the Warm Inventions albums have generally lousy reviews, so I haven't bothered.

you are right, I like Hope Sandoval, she gas great magical voice. Mazzy Star always rock the floor.

Update on Hope Sandoval: nada --she disappeared again. Here's on her last issued album: http://www.allmusic.com/album/through-th...0000825793 << she was described as a "shoegazing vocalist"--puts you right in the picture, doesn't it?
