aged 69 yrs and 2 days... cancer took him... "original" and "unique" are words that are bandied around freely to many artists that aren't, but they apply to Bowie and his music with almost every release he made... he was always ahead of his time, in fact the world is still behind him in some aspects of music... never flat footed, always searching for the next thing that no one had thought of... a gentleman, a poet, an actor, an artist (painter), producer, musician, songwriter, performer, mime artist, the list goes one, and he is one star that will not be replaced and probably not mimicked much neither because there is only one David Bowie: one of my favourites (and I could have picked thirty or forty or equal standing to post: [video=youtube;CMThz7eQ6K0]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMThz7eQ6K0[/video]
