It was truly sad to lose Mr. Healey at such a young age. Lost his eyesight to cancer at 1 year old, and then his life at 42. For more on this magnificent musician who should have been given the time to give more: http://jeffhealey.com/

Richard Manuel - died 04 March 1986. Best known as a member of The Band - pianist, singer and sometimes drummer, he wrote this song - 'Jawbone' and has posthumously received recognition from various luminaries on the musical landscape as having been something of a genius. I think he was aware that he was fairly well regarded while still alive too, which is really what counts!

Alvin Lee - died on 06 March 2013 as a result of complications during a 'routine surgical procedure' - he was 68. He was both lead guitarist and vocalist for Ten Years After and it's likely he's one of the 60's guitar masters John Frusciante refers to. TYA gained a lot more recognition after their Woodstock performance of "I'm Going Home" - deservedly so, and they'd paid their dues before that. Their highest charting single, written by Mr Lee - "I'd Love To Change The World" -
