Jury selection in your country

just wondering how courtroom Jury selection happens where you live.
and have any of you ever been a part of a Jury in a court case?

here, it is by random selection of taxpayers/citizens and you get a summons in the mail stating where and when you are required to attend.

anyway, i received a summons to attend for Jury Duty last November but because i was awaiting knee surgery it was deferred until 17th April 2023 (tomorrow).

anyway, will keep you informed as to the complete process once i arrive at the District Courthouse tomorrow.
