my co-worker need a direction for his band

two guitarists with a chick singer with decent range ...Really, they just need any sense of direction they can take...
A friend of mine said he'll hook them up with some industry contacts, but they need to have a sense of direction first
they need some realistic advice though, you know.
So to re-cap. They've been given the opportunity to get music industry connections, but need to establish a direction for the band...What they can do with our skill set, you know.
