Nothing Dirty about this one!
A striking start to this album with an Oasis type of approach . This is a hppay and likable track that makes a good start to the album.
Track Two I Feel Like Dancin` This is a strong driving track which to my mind seems like a combination of many established tracks. For example there are splashes of 1999 by Price in there. Having said that it is effective and who cares about total originality anyway?
Track Three Forget About It. Another interesting track, this sounds a bit like the later versions of Yes where the Buggles influence was present.
Track Four Guts Yet
another
energy filled track, whose pace, injects an infectious feel.
Track Five Time Bomb More good quality high energy pop music, somehow this band can write songs which catch one with a good hook and a strong atmosphere.
Track Six Just The Way Iâm Not Trick Skipping rhythms start this one of , then it explodes into a catchy chorusâ¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦
Track Seven Under A Paper Moon I wondered if this might be a cover but no, it is a original track. It is delivered in rip roaring style and highly enjoyable!
Track Eight Return The Favor A nice classical guitar start leads this into a fast paced gallop of a song which has a frantic Yes type style. This is a well constructed song and has a great ascending hook line and a tasteful piano end.
Track Nine No Idea A bouncing , rocking track that has one hooked quickly. The approach is open and happy making great pop !
Track Ten Daydream Away A slower track , still strong lyrically
, sounds a bit like a mild version of Oasis or maybe Blur. Made me want to daydream a bit , made me want to listen to the lyrics and think a bit !
Track Eleven That Girl. A great end to this album: a catchy piece of pop music which grow on you to the point of addition quickly.
This album contains hard edged pop which reflects the influence of the many incarnations which pop has had over the yearsâ¦..it is great to listen to and leaves one feeling in a happy mood!
