This is a recommendation by a forum member Radkadillic

I know nothing of the band but , one of the aims of the album review is to bring something new and different to the forum.

For a change it does not require streaming but comes direct from a website url where you can listen to tracks and then buy them if you like them.

Sine Language………………..Somasphere

“The cover reminds me of those jazz albums of the fifties……..”

Track One These Things..This reminds me of the free form jazz tracks that were popular around the 50s and 60s……………………….


Track Two Jim ‘n Eye..Electronic in nature, open formed, but with an underlying structure , this is a danceable track……………….


Track Three Sine Language There is some echo of Jean Michele Jarre in some of this , even Oxygene perhaps updated for 2011, certainly you can listen to this at two levels, ambient music for relaxation and maybe at the level of dance music. It is also vey reminiscent of an album I owned in the 70s called Universal Energy by Universal Energy.


Track Four Baxter Another dance orientated track, interesting but not revolutionary!


Track Five Factors Keyboard and drums work together in this track to provide a pleasant dance track


Track Six Fresha Rhythmic electronic sounds pervade this track , it is simple and repetitive but, not without charm.


Track Seven Illy B A delicate bell like-start to this trans-like track , the main body is rhythmic and repetitive giving it a hypnotic effect…………………


Track Eight Letter Cinco The first thing that sprang to mind here was :The Art Of Noise, this track has the organic feel of, the use of the sounds around one in one’s natural environment.


Track Nine Ready Since A fun track with a strong central rhythm .


Track Ten AKA This sounds like one of Mike Oldfield’s more obscure compositions. Perhaps it’s amissing part of Tubular Bells 4!


Track Eleven Touch and Go The final offering: A tuneful disco beat drives this along and provides an in character ending for this album.

This is atmospheric background music, it creates a feeling or underpins a mood.
