Yes, that's exactly the point--it's not who you like individually, it's who can make the best music together (each bringing their own special expertise, song-writing ability, AND PERSONALITY to the party). I'll take scorn for this, but find me a solid group of players who mined the often-different veins as well as the Eagles--bringing in Joe Walsh was a brilliant stroke and I wish they did more of Don Henley's solo-album material. Al Kooper did it several time with certified-solid Bluesman. Not trying to destroy fantasy but a bit of reality is in the package too.
