Rusty, I love all the other choices...I have listened to many types of music from medieval to modern. There are many I enjoy however in a close critique I hold the Beatles in high esteem. At this point in time I'm not much for Jam bands. I want instant 3-4 minute rock songs with a good melody....The Beatles suit the bill ! I only wish they had released more live albums...I like LIVE...it's the ultimate in music...the bond between the artist(s) and the fans! ...Green Day are not cerebral songwriters but man in a live setting...they ROCK ! I love to watch DVDs of live concerts...next best thing to being there !...I can't afford too many concerts...at 100 bucks a pop !
Having said that my second supergroup would have to be:
Freddie Mercury - vocals
Jimmy Page - guitar
Jack Bruce - bass
Carl Palmer - drums
