Songs that remind you of other things
#1
Everyone has songs that remind them of ex's or places or anything else besides the songs themselves because we, as human beings, relate everything to other things. That's how we work. But what are some of those songs and what do they remind you of?

For example: "Colorblind" by Counting Crows

This song reminds me of my current boyfriend for a few different reasons. a.) Together, we made a mixed CD for his mother and we surveyed tons of songs. This song was one of the songs that made the cut. b.) I was playing this one day when he came home and he told me that it reminded him of me because of this, which in turn, automatically makes me think of him too.

Tell me your stories!

The albums Gorilla by James Taylor, Moondance by Van Morrison, Sheffield Steel by Joe Cocker, & Transformer by Lou Reed all remind me very strongly of Mrs Tiggi. They were all albums (except JC) that she introduced me to, and we played them a lot when we were first together.

Monday Monday by The Mamas and Papas always reminds me of a journey I took in the late 60 across a particularly bleak bit of the Welsh countryside around Ffestiniog ..................That is what was playing on the radio when the journey started.
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!

It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
It makes a man frown.

in Saigon there was a little bar I went to on Tu-Do Street. There were pretty half French-half Vietnamese bar girls that provided scenery, but not much else, even if you bought them Saigon Tea. Get Together by the Youngbloods was constantly on the jukebox there, with the bass turned to the max...ah, the memories of an old man...
