Hi guys,
I've started drawing up the set list for my second acoustic covers album and was hoping to get some suggestions or requests. I'm looking for stuff that rocky but would translate well into acoustic. Three songs I've got so far are:
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man,
Dire Straits - Romeo and Juliet,
Free - Wishing Well,
Any input is appreciated

I wish I had a great suggestion but I don't but I couldn't help but chime in and point out that Romeo & Juliet has been done a few times. I don't know if that bothers you or not. There are plenty of other Dire Straits songs to choose from.

Nah doesn't bother me really

....the whole idea of a good cover is to pay tribute to the original whilst putting your own slant on it....

Ever heard "Rich Man" off the Montrose album Jump On It? Or how about "Autumn" off Edgar Winter Group's They Only Come Out At Night?

How about a bit of feed-back? Which of these did you choose, if any? I'm hip this is a 3-year-old post but what have you done since? Not a challenge and I'm not busting--interested though.

Jimi Hendrix - Axis Bold as Love - if six was nine, or any of the other songs, except little wing which has been done several times
