Interesting discussion. I know nothing about this and I am skeptical. There is one thing that has always bugged me however. In South America (Brazil, I think) there was a normal working class man, no education etc, who used to go into a trance, start speaking German and perform surgery on patients who came to see him. I wish I could remember his name. A number of his 'trances' and operations were observed by independents and I never really found a satisfactory answer to this whole affair. Anyone know about this guy?

i havent heard of the man you are talking about Jerome, but there were a lot of those 'faith healers' in Asia a while ago...they turned out to be frauds, but that doesnt mean they are all frauds...similar to UFO sightings i guess.
i guess the idea is to keep an open mind on things that cant be explained.

Welcome to MD
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!
It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
It makes a man frown..............................Chris Simpson ( "Mixed Up Sensations" 1975 Martin's Cafe )
