I voted for Facelift as 'Put You Down' and 'It ain't Like That' are my favorite Alice in Chains songs. I really like Dirt as well but I can't get over how much I like those two favorite songs of mine!

Being a massive AIC fan I found it almost impossible to pick (like choosing a favourite child perhaps!!). Their latest album hasn't really hit my core just yet, and I don't think that is because they don't have Layne anymore...it's just a matter of repeat plays. It is hard to pick an album (I chose Dirt) when your favourite song is on another (Right turn off SAP)...But in the week of losing the bass player Mike Starr ...I wish I would of clicked them all

I voted for Dirt. That album just completely captivates me everytime I listen to it. I do love the other Alice In Chains records but I think Dirt captures the dark nature of the lyrics perfectly through the music. There's points where it's agressive, touching and even comical. Tracks such as 'Them Bones', 'Dam That River', 'Rain When I Die', 'Junkhead', 'Dirt', 'Down In A Hole' and 'Would?' are just amazing. 'Rooster' is easily my favourite Alice In Chains song as well so this album triumphs every time in my eyes.

Jar of Flies all the way man. 'Dirt' took a long time to grow on me.

I am a long time AIC fan, and it is hard for me to pick a favorite. Every album is so different and so important to their identity. I can say "Alice in Chains" is my least favorite although it has some pretty killer tracks on it. I love "again" and "grind." I was extremely impressed with Black Gives Way to Blue, we can all agree there will never be another Layne, but William DuVall is an excellent fit. He captures the spirit of the group without trying to be a Layne copy. I also love all the songs on that album, to me it's a fresh beginning, a lot of creativity and energy. Although there are some individual songs on the older albums that are un-matched, as far as rating an entire album from start to finish I picked Black Gives Way to Blue as my favorite. I can listen to that entire album start to finish and not want to skip anything. The song variety is great and I love how they ended it with the mellow title track. I am a long time fan and I love what they are doing now, William DuVall has my Superfan blessing! Again, one of my all time favorite bands and each album has it's own special place!
