Yeah if I'm right Edgar Frosse the main member of the group is he not? Just had a look for that album and cant find it. I'm sure I read he took over in the early 1980s from someone else. He features on the album I've picked anyway. Whenever theres a group I'm investigating I always tend to lean towards the 90s, despite the age of the group lol

I'm only replying to this old thread because I know gryphon is still active here.

I used to be a big fan of Tangerine Dream and saw then live at the Berkeley Community Theater in the late 70's.  I'm pretty sure the photo on the cover of the Encore album was taken at that show.  I was in the front row on the audience right hand side and did some sustained damage to my hearing at that show.  It was a loud one.

I don't listen to them any more, but I could recommend anything between Rubycon through Encore based on my memory.  I especially liked the music from Sorcerer and it's the Sorcerer theme I hear in my head when I think of Tangerine Dream.
