new year resolutions anyone?

^^^ Considering how young I still was during his final moments in the spot light, I wouldn't say that I rediscovered him. Yeah I remembered him from what I heard when I was a kid, but that right there is just it. A kid is not going to understand what the songs are about and then of course radio turning their attention towards other singers is never a help in my opinion either.

I agree that its good when a person finds what they think is awesome, but when it comes from someone that you can't have anything further to do with because they are not here anymore, it hurts. With Billy Joe being gone, I can't tell him what it is that I think of him when the opportunity pretty much had been available to me earlier. If only I had found him on my own sooner. :frown: :frown: :frown:
