I LOVE THIS ALBUM spoken word track, the imagery in the lyrics is simply sublime IMO tracks: 1....spinning song *** 2....bright horses *** 3....waiting for you *** 4....night raid ** 5....sun forest ** 6....galleon ship *** 7....ghosteen speaks *** 8....leviathan *** 9....ghosteen ** 10..fireflies *** 11..Hollywood ** 3s - 7 2s - 4 1s - 0 rating: 2.6 RE: CRAZY's 2019 purchases - CRAZY-HORSE - 03-12-2019 ![]() CERNY BROTHERS "looking for the good land" release date: 31st May third studio album no sales info no chart info no singles released from Texas but Ohio born album is what i'd term 'heartland rock' hearing Gaslight Anthem, Springsteen, Mellencamp all over the first half more "Americana" sounding on the second half songs have a social conscience feel like the above mentioned artists. the brothers cover all bases claiming they "were born into a Liberal family but grew up in Conservative Texas so we see and hear all sides of it". I LIKE THIS ALBUM tracks: 1....I wanna love you *** 2....days of thunder ** 3....ghost ** 4....American whore *** 5....where im going *** 6....night on the town ** 7....drinking gold ** 8....laugh at the devil * 9....Tennessee * 10..moon above the desert ** 11..Denver ** 12..million miles ** 3s - 3 2s - 7 1s - 2 rating: 2.1 RE: CRAZY's 2019 purchases - Ruby - 04-12-2019 This will keep you out of trouble for a while CH! Bowie was right in his assumption that Lorde was the future of rock as so many female artists have taken her sound and redesigned it for their selves. great catchy songs on here but very dark superb weird-ass videos to accompany the songs also which add to the whole experience I LOVE THIS ALBUM: favourite: tracks: ……!!!!!! UK rock band continue their tried and true orchestrated rock sound they've been successful with since the early 1970s. same melodic, almost Beatle-esque melodies they do so well album sounds a bit flat in places, lacking the oomph of earlier releases the album does however do their back catalogue justice its not a classic ELO album but it has all the elements to make it thoroughly enjoyable to listen to. on par with their previous release "alone in the universe" and like that album Lynne seems to be looking back on previous achievements and glory days with all the cheesy fondness youd expect from a guy now in his 70s. I LIKE THIS ALBUM tracks: 1....from out of nowhere ** 2....help yourself ** 3....all my love * 4....down came the rain ** 5....losing you ** 6....one more time ** 7....sci-fi woman * 8....goin' out on me ** 9....time of our life ** 10..songbird ** 3s - 0 2s - 8 1s - 2 rating: 1.8 RE: CRAZY's 2019 purchases - CRAZY-HORSE - 06-12-2019 JON FRATELLI "bright night flowers" release date: 15th February 2nd solo album, 8th of career no sales figures no chart info single: "bright night flowers"...…......……………...no chart action https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1vnhnqGXQQ video "dreams don't remember your name".....no chart action https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIfCnpQt8V0 audio Scotsman the experts call this Americana not sure about that tag but there are tinges of country/folk on a few tracks throughout this one. lovely melodic songs unusual vocal tone, but in a good way sounds like Lloyd Cole, probably others but im lost for it. a classy collection of songs you can either sit down with indepth listening pleasure or simply play as background music, works both ways for me well and truly up there for best album of the year for me.
