only one solitary match today, and it should be a cracker....
South Africa v West Indies
geez!...this is difficult one, i would have no hesitation in picking South Africa normally,but after West Indies' Captain
Chirs Gayle's record-breaking knock of 215 in their last match this could go either way...
you see, West Indian cricketers have a 'swagger',an 'arrogance' etc in them when their on a high and that can rattle
other teams even though it shouldnt...
if i was a betting man i would leave this one alone because i htink it will be too close to make a call!...
psychological mindgames aside and with a bit of apprehension i predict a win for......South Africa

their Captain A.B De Villiers hit the fasted 150 in International Cricket history(66balls) and they never looked back...
West Indies' 'cocky attitude' after their last game helped them capitulate when they batted and the SA'ers won by a staggering 250+runs

okay, today we see co-host nations Australia v New Zealand play...both are unbeaten so far...!
and also, India v UAE
easy one first....i tip India to win convincingly
second match...a lot harder to make a call here(but then again i said that re the SA/WI match yesterday also...lol)
the match between Australia and New Zealand will probably be decided within the first half dozen overs of the match...
ie: if the team batting first gets off to a great start or the team bowling first manages to pick up a few early wickets...
i'd like to see New Zealand win,but honestly, im going to have to tip Australia...
(having second thoughts now, but Australia it is)

Australia v New Zealand....
i tipped Australia and they lost in a close heartstopping match...
i did predict that the game would either be won or lost in the first few overs...
Australia were cruising at 1/80 then lost 8 wickets for 20 runs , they then salvaged another 40 runs before being bowled out
NZ were also cruising before losing several quick wickets, they then recovered before losing a few more wickets in quick fashion
so it was a roler-coaster ride for both teams in this even contest...

in pool A, England and Australia have been dissapointing but Sri Lanka have shown why they should never be underestimated in the
'one day' cricket arena
in pool B,India are at their peak playing consistantly good,unlike their performances over the previous year or so and Pakistan,well,
theyre always a hit-or-miss team, it seems this series that they 'miss'.
monday is a rest day for all teams, the competition resumes on Tuesday and ALL teams except Scotland and UAE have a mathematical chance of making the playoffs...
