The Eagles "THE STUDIO ALBUMS 72-79"
I bought "hotel California" a few weeks ago, that one cost $10,
this whole boxset was $22, that's six studio albums in total, works out at less than $5 an album
or around $5 an album if you don't count HC...
I do own "the long run" on vinyl from back in the day also.

What Did You Buy? - CRAZY-HORSE - 08-04-2016

"Hatfields & McCoys"
stars one of my favourite actors in Mr.Costner,
heard lots of good things about this mini-series and I missed it when it was on TV a while
ago...

"Haven" - season I.
never seen it but heard about it...
based on "the Colorado kid" novel by Stephen King...
ive never read that novel and with his screenplays theyre either
brilliant or lousy, that's the way it is with him, fortunately, as I stated,
ive not read the novel so theres no preconceptions or expectations on
my part....time will tell?

HAVEN season II
season one was okay,
the story finally developed over the series and it is interesting now...
I hope season two keeps the momentum up and my interest holds.

several purchases today:

PJ HARVEY "the hope six demolition project"
"let England shake" grew on me over time, I didn't love it by any means, but it was good.
this one has grown on me also over several Spotify listens.
im still not sure whether PJ is as great as the music press says she is, but she is still ok.

BLACK STONE CHERRY "Kentucky"
good old fashioned hard rock from this band from Kentucky

[Image: 61P3lclL2fL._AC_US160_.jpg] [Image: 61M2PudsonL._AC_US160_.jpg]

KING GIZZARD & THE LIZARD WIZARD "paper mache dream balloon" & "im in your mind fuzz"
Aussie psychedelic rock band, they have eight albums but I only heard of them yesterday when I Spotified
their latest release, I liked it, then I wnet back and heard the more acoustic "paper mache" album and liked that
one a lot so I bought it, they didn't have the new one in stock yet so I thought because I like the first two ive
heard I might as well try another of their albums.

MAYER HAWTHORNE "man about town" & "a strange arrangement"
the "man about town" is quality old fashioned R+B, saw the other one in a discount bin for $5 and figured
if its half as good as the other one I will get my money's worth!

CHEAP TRICK "the original album classics"
a five disc boxset containing five studio albums for $14.99,
I only have a compilation of these guys and a few 7" singles rom the 1980s
so I figured this works out at $3 an album, how could I go wrong at that price...
anyway,
the albums contained within are:

1977's "cheap trick"
1977's "in colour"
1978's "heaven tonight"
1980's "all shook up"
1983's "next position please"
