For those of you who don't know who Dan Tyminski is, he has been guitarist and mandolin player for Alison Krauss since 1994 and sang "Man of Constant Sorrow" on the O' Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack.

Lionel Richie was the first artist that had recorded a song with a greeting as the title, so it will have to do

This place seems pretty cool, I had a look around a couple other music discussion forums but I wasn't keen on the layout of them.

I won't be massively active on here as I have commitments on other forums but I shall pop in and post occasionally, so I thought I might aswell start by making a thread here.

Hey everyone!

I am looking for workout music to run on.
I know that during marathon's they always have bands standing alongside the road playing great uplifting music, with loads of drums and trompets.
A bit like Dario G - Carnaval, but then less popular or more unknown I think.

I hope there is anyone who can help me find this kind of music..!

I'll get it off my chest here. The site I run is called Music Emissions, an alternative and indie music community. Check it out if you are looking for some great music banter.

That's it. It's off my chest now. I may still refer to the odd review or conversation over there but I'll try and stay focused. I promise.

Looking for some good conversation about indie and alternative music. I run a music website myself but sometimes reach out beyond what my site has to offer.

Some recent faves include Five - Hesperus, Vampire Weekend, Gutter Twins, Flogging Molly - Float, 3 - The End Is Begun

Not even close to the tip of the iceberg.

Oh, I'm Canadian Eh!
