We just got done putting together a new album of mostly-instrumental recordings, featuring awesome musicianship from Abraham Laboriel, Justo Almario, Bill Maxwell, and more...

Generally a west-coast jazz feel, including new renditions of some classic "Koinonia" tunes.

Anyone starting watching this? Has to be the most entertaining reality show.

Any fans of the show in here? A lot of people rip on this show, and i never watched it until this season, but i really see talent in some of these people. A few of them have already put out cd's before this show. They aren't allowed to sing their own songs so nobody would know how talented they were at songwriting. So is anyone in here watching Season 7? My favorite is Jason Castro and David Cook is my 2nd favorite.

ok so I read about this "forgotten masterpiece" album in late october/early november of 2007 in the Independent Music Magazine. I think the point of the article was that the album was being reissued. the cover art was very distinctive, with the artist sitting with his guitar whilst also holding an AK47; the article also mentioned that his career never took off partly because his band he assembled for live shows was composed mainly of schoolkids, and they were forever getting kicked out of the venues. the article also described the sound of his music as being "not unlike the white stripes". however, this album was released i think either in the sixties or seventies. the artist was american, possibly southern-but then again maybe not.
this is now driving me to insanity just thinking about how good this album could be when i can't find it or the original article; so PLEASE help me.
many thanks

Hey guys, I recently started writing for a music website called Jamsbio.com, which is a new site for music lovers that was launched on March 31st. The theory behind it is "the memories of music", so basically it's sort of like the story of your life as told through music.
You can search their site for any song that you choose and write about your memories of it. It's really fun, not only to share your memories, but to reads other's as well.

For anyone that loves music, I highly encourage you to visit the site and make a profile of your own, as well as read the other writer's entries, you'll
really enjoy it.

Here is the link to the main page: www.jamsbio.com

And here's the link to my personal profile, feel free to leave comments: www.jamsbio.com/user/rachelburke

The founders of the site are really trying to spread the word about it, so I'd really appreciate anyone reading this to visit the site, spread the word and leave comments. Thanks in advance!
