Hey everyone, I'm new here so this kind of thread might already be posted up but my question is if anyone here loves any 90's Soul/R&B? Hip Hop/Rap? For me, the 1990's are for sure, no questions asked, the best era of music for me. But that's just my opinion.

Unfortunately none of my Top 5 hip-hop albums don't come from this decade but the 90's definetly was a good decade for hip-hop. Some of the albums I own and enjoy from the 90's:
Nas - Illmatic
Common Sense - Resurrection
OutKast - ATLiens
A Tribe Called Quest - Midnight Marauders
Mos Def - Black On Both Sides
GZA - Liquid Swords
Bone Thugz N Harmony - E. Eternal '99
There's a lot more but I'd have to flip through my CD case to name them.

Well in the credits of the video Trent Gaines is in, they list the members of S.W.A.T. while crediting the music. S.W.A.T. was Joe Schnurr, Joe Stockit and Nick Stockit. I couldn't find the Stockit brothers and there could be a million Joe Schnurr's out there. You could also find the Swingin' Fist song if you look up "Mike Taylor G&S Winona Riders" on Youtube. You could also find the "X-Ecutem" song by looking up Kit Erickson A Soldier's Story on youtube.
They really are a great group. All their songs were probably on some demo that was on a cassette. A demo that is most likely, lost forever.
