apart from that stupid covers set "kisses on the bottom" this is
Macca's first album of new material since the Fireman's "electric augments"
in 2007.....
i didnt like the lead-off single "new" nor the other track i saw on
Fallon the other day...
the rest of the album is no different, its mostly overproduced lame material
of the same ilk as that "new" track...now, i am a huge Macca fan as you guys know
but i cant get my head around this new offering...
it just goes nowhere for me, that said, i do like the lyrics to the songs, its just
the songs melody's that dont work for me...
there are only two of the twelve tracks i can say that i genuinely like and only
one i dislike, the rest are still borderline for me...

yep...

ive had an average fifteen months with artists i like releasing sub-standard albums ie: Nick Cave,Costello,Neil Finn(pajama club),Weller,Neil Young,Fogerty,Macca x2 now.

the only one who didnt let me down was Springsteen!...ever reliable Springsteen!!
