hi,
i recently joined a funk/rock band as the vocalists
however its simply a bit of a trial as the other guys in the bands arent sure what the reaction to a female vocalist will be
some people have said that they find it harder to relate to femal vocalists and their lyrics i just wondered if anyone else would mind gioving me their opinion on the matter so i can get back to the guys

cheers

why don't you make them notice that the female vocalist can attract a huge part of audiences and can add an impressive factor to the band...

I personally think you have an incredible opportunity to be one of the few female singers in the funk/rock genre. If you really put heart & soul into your music, you could be an amazing singer
Best of luck
