I wish vevo would stop advertising Miley Cyrus. She is a disgrace after her "performance" recently!! Wonder what her Dad thinks. Never did care for her singing anyway.

Vevo is supposed to be one of the new featured on the current Apple Tv ugrade, right? I better get to the latest version.
Personally I don't understand what's so shocking about her performance. Artists have been doing this for centuries.

agree that it shouldn't be shocking
a gradual progression to her sleaze factor was apparent if she had not been a child star it would go unnoticed and of course the entertainment media loves to hype it as far as Billy Ray, that's probably where she got her values

IMO only artists with little or no talent have to resort to sleazy,slutty exhibitions to get noticed and/or sell records.
P!NK, Gwen Stefani,Adele,Amy,Florence & The Machine etc dont have to act like that, why?, because they can sing!

It wasn't all that shocking, but it was disgusting to watch. I kept thinking she was having some kind of weird twitch with her tongue sticking out like that. Not very attractive. She shouldn't be in the limelight anyway. No talent can only get you so far, and whatever it was she was doing on stage wasn't very entertaining. Give it a year or two and the kids will be latched on to someone else while Miley is getting all fixed up in rehab or a mental ward.

Like mentioned above, it's all about doing what it takes to sell. Artists who are struggling to sell will find alternate ways to gain attention and hope that that works. I agree that the talented artists never do this because their voice and skill do all the work.

I honestly still haven't seen this performance. I'm so out of it I wouldn't recognize Miley Cyrus if she was standing in front of me. In fact back when she was Hannah Montana she was right in front of me in a restaurant and I was clueless. IT had to be brought to my attention that she was a celeb.
