Hey there all, I've just created my profile here, and I really want to know about people who have had their lives, or moments in their lives, bettered and improved by heavy metal and rock and roll. It helped me get through the deaths of loved ones with it's overwhelming passion and foot stomping energy. Tell me how specific songs and albums impacted you, and remember, what exactly it's listed as officially and by others is irrelevant. If you think it's metal or rock and roll, then speak your mind.:rockon::rockon::rockon::hug::whoo:

Another newbie from Indianapolis! Welcome aboard MD, W.A.S.P. Animal! I'll have to catch the WASP live concert!
For me rock n roll and metal music and all other music have been life long companions of mine! I couldn't imagine what it would be like without muse! I like all types of music and listen to whatever appeals to me! The Beatles in 1964 addicted me to rock, The first album by Black Sabbath hooked me into metal.
The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!

Hey man, thanks for responding, I personally can't say that any other genre has affected me much (Though I have great respect for all of them). Metal is what really hit me, and changed me. But I suppose everyone has that one genre or band that really made them feel alive, and for me it was, and still is, metal, Judas Priest, W.A.S.P, Motley Crue, Ratt, Quiet Riot, Twisted Sister, Ozzy Osbourne, Dio and the like.
