Do you want to expand your taste in music?

I heard that most people are set in their ways by the time they reach around 25 in regards to the music they like and don't like. Since music is an ever evolving medium and enjoyed by almost everyone, I find this hard to believe. Opinions? Thanks.

To elaborate on the topic I just like to say I believe in the opposite as well. People will Dislike music they once liked... I can't picture myself listening to Datsik and Skrillex when I'm 80 and in a rocking chair. Though maybe when I'm 80 I might like lil Wayne and listen to him when hooning around on my scooter

I am a firm believer that AGE has nothing to do with it! Someone remarked to me once that I listen to "teeny" music ...what in the heck is that ! I suppose if I listened to jazz and classical as opposed to metal and classic rock that it would be age appropriate !!!...lol...I listen to all music!....so when you're 80 listen to Skrillex or anything else you like, Brycek!

I think the music you prefer is your preferred one during high school or college. It reminds you cheerful years. I still continue to think that 80s synthpop is the best music in the world but I like also other genres so probably you can expand your music ideas if you want.
