We all know when it comes to cuts in schools, music and art are the first to go, but multiple studies prove that learning an instrument correlates to higher performance in all other areas of academics. Currently in my district the board of education is cutting more than half of the music programs in our schools. If you support music in the schools, as I do, please join our fight to keep these programs.
