Hello every one!
I've just released my first EP, and really like to hear, what you think about it. It's five self written songs and a single cover song. It's called 'Going Acoustic' and the genre of the EP can be described as pop / singer-songwriter. The idea behind 'Going Acoustic' was to record how it sounds when its just me and my guitar.
You can hear the album here, for free:

You can also listen to it at Facebook, and get to know me there:

What do you think about the guitar, vocal and lyrics?

okay...listened to them mate....!
i dont know anything about the technical side of recording or its processes, but here goes...
the tracks sound okay to me, but they are nothing special IMO, they could have been written and recorded by a million singers, not that thats bad, because others can cover them respectfully, but i dont hear anything that makes me think "wow, theres something special or outstanding in the way these songs are performed"...
that is not a put down of you or your talent, just an observation of mine as a music lover...but that said, to make an acoustic track sound special would probably be a difficult thing to do as you are limited with how its gonna sound i guess...
look, cudo's to you for being able to write something from scratch, and good luck with your endeavours in the industry mate, we need more 'real songs' with 'real instruments' instead of that bullsh!t beats stuff, sampling and autotune crap that is so popular nowadays

Glen, can i ask a question?
How did you record them?
i.e. what things and software is needed to do that, and how much will it cost?
i really want to make my own too, but i don't really know the primary things used to record..
