So the other day I was early shopping for myself and others. And i was in this clothing store, and they were playing the best Christmas music. All the classics and everything. I was shocked because christmas is a while away, but I guess now-a-days people start early. But i asked on of the works what CD was it, and they said it was Mannheim Steamroller âChristmasvilleâ and I went home to check it out. So i bought it on itunes? Has anyone heard christmas music yet in the mall. Ladies I know we all shop. So i thought it would be cute to have some christmas music for my guest.

Oh I have quite the selection of Christmas tunes. Not that I am a fan of them or anything, it's just that over the past 13 years of working for a huge 4-day Christmas themed fundraiser for our Diabetes Assocition, needless to say, I've amassed quite a collection, in order to fill those 4 days with music.
So, one little ditty I am rather fond of (since the two men responsible for this cute little original track are good friends of mine) is a song called
"Christmas Everyday". Which can be found on a compilation CD called,
A Very Vancouver Christmas.

Oh, and I forgot to say, BB King!!!
Something I do enjoy about searching out Christmas music is finding new original tunes, or old favorites done by today's "popular" artists.
Some examples:
I've always enjoyed Bon Jovi's Christmas tunes. His "Please Come Home For Christmas" is great (not quite as good as BB King, but still fun). I've also heard a version of "Rocking Around The Christmas Tree" done as a duet with Cheryl Crow and Mary J. Blige. That may sound like an odd combo, but the ladies do play well off each other. :coffee:

Bing Crosby (White Christmas), Slade (Merry Xmas Everybody), Wizzard (I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day), Mariah Carey and My Chemical Romance (2 different versions)(All I Want For Christmas Is You)
And definitely not Cliff Richard, Jona Lewie or Bruce Springsteen (Santa Claus is Coming To Town)
I love Christmas -I saw a house decorated 2 weekends ago - Pre Halloween - and wasn't annoyed 'cos well - tinsel and fairy lights!
