woke up to this sad but not unexpected news this morning....

the Brothers Gibb were without doubt one of the greatest bands/artists in the history of modern music IMO....with their almost 'perfect' pop songs, melodies and harmonies

My mom was and still is a huge Bee Gees fan, so i grew up listening to their music...It's a damn shame and a true loss for the world of music.

i know the Bee Gees were always called an Australian act, but these guys were born in England and after the Lennon/McCartney writing team they are rated #2 as the most successful British songwriters of all time....!!!!

that said....i was born in the Uk but consider myself Australian, therefore i consider the bee Gees Australian also, afterall, they started their careers here!!!!!

guess the same thing could be said of AC/DC also...ALL members born in the north of the UK or Scotland but raised in Australia, therefore they are Australian IMO!
